Some of you all have been asking me about songs from the time and culture that is the setting of Sinners, so I’ve put together a playlist!
Here are 40 songs to paint a vibrant picture of that particular era of Black America covering country blues, urban blues, gospel and spirituals.
A small warning:
There are a few NSFW songs in there because our elders weren’t always elders. Maybe low volume?
