“Our Mississippi must be the Volga,” Adolf Hitler once said.

He wanted to expand his Nazi empire beyond Russia’s Volga River in the same way Thomas Jefferson dreamed the “doomed red race” would “be exterminated, or driven beyond the Mississippi.”

Hitler persecuted Jewish people legally because he modeled his Nazi laws after American Jim Crow laws. He got the idea of the Master Race from America. All the non-Aryan lower whites Hitler called untermensch meaning “under-man,” a phrase he took from a Klansman. Hitler also loved Henry Ford, telling the Chicago Tribune in 1923, “We look on Heinrich Ford as the leader of the growing Fascisti [Fascist] movement in America. We admire particularly his anti-Jewish policy … We just had his anti-Jewish articles translated.” (Ford was not only a raging anti-Semite, but such a devout racist that he built an all-white town, a couple of enslaved Black towns, ran medical experiments on Black employees and attempted to breed his own indigenous workforce.)
