A little holiday cheer and a celebratory note!

If you can see the distrust in my eyes or wonder why I’m shaking hands instead of sitting on his lap, it’s because up until this moment I had been led to believe Santa was Black.

I hope you’re having a joyous and restful holiday season! Just dropping by with a quick celebratory note!

It’s a 5-episode history about how my home state of Maine came to be the whitest state in the country and why it continues to be. 99 Years was produced by the incomparable Flo Edwards and it was just chosen to be part of Maine Initiatives’ Grants for Change 2024 cohort!
